For me it's about using my time wisely and planning before acting. Without pre-planning, everything takes twice as long as it needs to take

It's that old saying: "Give me 6 hours to cut down a tree and I'll spend the first 5 sharpening the axe"

Self discipline is my biggest hurdle in being productive. I work for 3 days and get bored of the monotony. Then spend 2 days doing nothing. Working on building routines and habits to be more disciplined

One mistake I still make from time to time is to just start working, without a game plan. This can lead to useless or unproductive tasks done, instead of my most meaningful work. I keep myself busy, but not productive...

I write my todo list the night before, I take 5 minutes at the end of the day and write down the important tasks I have to do the next day, and prioritize them. That way I jump straight to what's important. When I don't, I drift for a while, working on meaningless tasks, and I have to sit down and make a list before I can be productive again!
