Great Sucess Story of Self Made Man! (with his woman standing right beside him propping him up!) I have been doing a "side hustle" of mental health counseling in my own private practice 12 years while also being a United Methodist clergyman. This inspires me to continue to pursue side hustle so that I can turn it up to my main work in several years.
Great to hear you're also on your own side-hustle journey, sounds like valuable work! All the best with continuing this and hopefully you reach your goal of making it your main source of income!
Thanks for sharing your journey . I find your book summaries very helpful .I am happy to see another human being is successful and love what he does . I wish you all the best . One day i will find my way to become as successful as you are . Thank you ,keep up the hard work .
Thanks for sharing your story! It all rings true for me - especially the idea of "focusing on the big rocks". I will use this bit of motivation to throw something up on my website this week!
Thanks Paul. Your story is lovely. Thanks for sharing the items you tried, excelled at and those that you had to reset after. I'm so glad I found your site.
Great post, Paul, and congratulations on your success so far! Look forward to hearing more about your new program for aspiring side-hustlers (that's me!). Greetings from the Bay of Islands, NZ :)
Great insights and impressive to see how life pretty much prepares one for what's to come. I am looking for more from you and appreciate you giving out so much value.
Impressive story and great insights. It's sometimes interesting to see in the backmirror how life has prepared one for what's coming. I love this. Onto the next big things, all the best!
Hey Paul, not sure if I said it yet but: congratulations! Actually, I also went full time doing my own "self-employed indie-entrepreneur" thing. I'm not doing traveling by now because my fiance still has a full time job, so my next goal after making consistent income is to replace hers as well. I went through all your stages as well, products with 3 month long work and complete failures, but the key is definitely consistency and never loosing sight of your dream.
I'll definitely follow your journey as I'm also quite into self improvement and productivity, so really happy to share thoughts from time to time :)
Enjoy your travel vacations, I love your instagram images from the other end of the world!
Hi Simon, great to hear from you my friend and it's great to hear you've recently gone full-time as well. I'm at the same stage - would love to be able to let Hayley quit her job. We're having an amazing trip, currently in Japan. Thanks for the nice feedback and support ?
Hi Paul, Very inspiring story! I hear about people making money online through businesses they start all the time but I never really know them or have heard of them. Having heard of you through one of your ex work colleagues puts it into persepective that anyone can start their own online business and replace their day job like you have. I agree it is a lot of hard work and trial and error to find out what works and what doesn't. People who are successful never give up and are persistant. Thank you for sharing your story.
Love this story so much. It's so encouraging to me as someone who is trying to do the same thing. Definitely possible, but requires the persistence and dedication. Thanks so much for sharing this, Paul! I plan to read this regularly and keep motivated and excited. Also - can't wait for an updated version in a year or two that shows how far you've gone in that time, too!
Hello, Paul, I found your story fascinating! Almost too good to be true. The good thing is that it's true! I also want to start my side-hustle in the productivity niche, but not sure if there still room for yet another productivity blog/podcast. Probably I'll just write a book and start growing audience from there. So right now, I have nothing. I have been reading personal development books and getting bored on my job. But I can't wait to see what you have to offer on your new project. Best of wishes and success to you and Hayley on the rest of your journey!
Hi Raul, thanks so much for your kind words and support. Yes, it's definitely possible. With enough hard work and persistence (as you can see through my story), you can definitely do it. I think there's still room for people to share interesting ideas around productivity. In terms of consulting, I'm sure there are many untapped niches that you could position yourself in to help people. Stay tuned for more details 😀
Great post, Paul! It's cool to follow your journey and see your adventures over the years. I hope you and Haley are having all the fun traveling the world. Looking forward to more updates!
May I ask you which plugin you use to allow people to download some of the pages as PDF?
Interesting to see all the steps and not only the successful one.
Again, congrats for your work ;)
Cheers
Chris
